“ Had free ticket to Amaro Montenegro bartending competition, where I enjoyed complementary cocktails prepared as well as tasty finger food served by the hotel. Pleasant tastefully decorated location with high ceilings and confortable seats. ”
“ Huge kudos to the D/6 Bar and Lounge team! We did a partial buyout for our pre-wedding welcome party - where everyone was coming from out of town - and the staff treated us so well. We received so much feedback from our guests about how delicious the food was, and how good the bartenders were. Seriously, the vibes were absolutely superb and the staff were just the best. Huge thanks to Maria who looked after us and even organized a special surprise with presenting and slicing our wedding tasting cakes! It was so lovely of the GM to also come to our section and introduce himself and chat with us. Overall, our party at D/6 was wonderful and we really appreciate everything they did. I couldn't recommend this place more. It's a magical place behind the bookcase, after all. ”
“ I really like this lounge. It’s bougie; totally my style. While also exhibiting the casual Vancouver, west coast vibe. Especially on the patio with the games. Gorgeous in the summer time. Dress up or down; you’ll fit in. Expect to pay for the experience, not just the food. And while it was good, it is on the higher side. Try coming during happy hour or Sundays. I liked the wagyu burger. Could’ve done without the famous chicken strips (it was the “famous” that hooked me in). Service was lovely; though I think they’re understaffed, cuz it was a bit slow (same with the entire hospitality industry). Washrooms and everything else were very well-kept. Do watch out for parking. If you’re not a hotel guest, I recommend parking across the street by the Plaza of Nations. Basically everything you’d expect from a bar and lounge in a 5-star hotel. I will be back! ”
“ I had a seating reservation for our group of 10 guests last weekend, right after my birthday dinner reservation. We had a great spot in the corner. Our server was fantastic and we enjoyed good cocktails, drinks and appies. They ran out of the prosecco bottle that we ordered, so our server offered and brought us 20 shots (2 rounds) to make up for it (through no fault of her own). We were supposed to leave by 11:30pm as they turn into a nightclub but they allowed us to stay until we left an hour later as they were not too busy. A wonderful evening capping off my birthday celebration! Thank you to the wonderful staff and our attentive server for a great experience! ”
“ My husband and I found this gem when we were staying at the Parq hotel. Our sever Omar was fantastic and even gave us a peek at the private room behind the library. Sushi was fresh and excellent, my punch drink was fabulous and hubby's Scotch was....scotch so you can't mess it up. The decor was sexy and modern with great music. We will be back. Skip Honey Salt and head up to D6. We went just after lunch so it wasn't packed which we prefer. ”

“ Went here for the first time with workmates last weekend, and I think I can say that we all enjoyed! I like how cozy each area or table is. Like it fits and caters to whatever type of group of customers they have. For the food, I've tried their Chicken Karaage and Yam Fries. Both were delish! Their staff were also very accommodating ”
